The 2nd Century Brahmi Inscription in Natural Jain cave and 8th century Pandya Rock cut temple and damaged 13th Century structured temple with stone inscriptions of late Pandia are some of the Heritage assets. It has more than 52 water bodies with more biodiversities .It is situated 24 km from Madurai and 3 km from Narasingapatti of Madurai to Melur Road.. This Agriculture village is traditionally grows Paddy and Vegetables. This village continues to cook their Traditional food under the sun which facilitates their immunity.
